Friday Jan 4, 1730-1900 – Motivation to train.

The why, what, and how of where you are right now. We look at what needs to be better and how you can achieve this mentally, physically and emotionally to get you firing on all cylinders over the next 3 months and then for the rest of 2013.

This workshop will get you thinking about what success looks like to you which is the first important step to becoming truly focused. Everyone has differing ideas of success; some haven’t even started to think about it, others have analysed it intensely.  Do you want to just get over the finish line?  Do you want to improve your time, or just get a time?  Is time important to you?  Are you running for a particular charity, or person, or for a specific personal reason? Are you just doing it because of a friend, are you supporting someone, or is it on your bucket list?  These are just a few things that come to mind.

The finish line is a long way off, but there are small milestones to get there and these need to be sorted out and clear. They may include other races but we also need to take into account your life; how you will fit it all in, dealing with any clutter in the way such as work, stress, frustration, lethargy, procrastination, fitting training in, how to involve a partner, etc. So today we will be looking at how to get the small steps clear, so you can leave with a set of steps in place knowing they are totally achievable because you now have the focus and motivation to achieve them.
